Yoga Nidra with Danny Morris
Mondays 7:45 pm- 8:45pm in the Studio
Find your inner peace with an evening of lying down embodied meditation. Allow the body to completely relax while the mind stays awake and aware of the subtle currents of energy that simply remind us “I am alive.”
Yoga Nidra brings an incredible calmness, quietness and clarity. Yoga Nidra is one of the deepest of all meditations, leading awareness through many levels of mental process to a state of supreme stillness and insight.
Yoga Nidra means Yogic Sleep. It is a state of conscious Deep Sleep. In Meditation, you remain in the Waking state of consciousness, and gently focus the mind, while allowing thought patterns, emotions, sensations, and images to arise and go on. However, in Yoga Nidra, you leave the Waking state, go past the Dreaming state, and go to Deep Sleep, yet remain awake.
Yoga Nidra brings access to the to latent, or subconscious level of mind, that is underneath even the processing, fantasizing, imaging level of mind. It is the doorway to the causal level of reality, out of which springs the subtle, psychic, astral plane of reality, which in turn brings forth the gross level.

Mondo Zen Process with Bu Nan
Tuesdays 11:00pm – 2:00pm in the Meditation Room
The Mondo Process is a guided exploration and transmission of the depths of your own mind. Through the meeting of our minds , I hope to point out some of the subtler aspects of your own awareness, and clarify the choice that you have always had. It is a distillation of the Koan system of traditional Zen, into the 13 Koans that have been updated for the post-post modern 21st century mind.
This Process comes out of the Hollow Bones Rinzai Zen tradition led by my Teacher, Jun Po Roshi. I have been authorized to facilitate this process by Jun Po, and am honored to go through this process with you. It consists of 13 Koans that we may or may not make it all the way through in one sitting. It is not important to make it all the way though in each session. What is important is that we both directly realize, in each moment, the Clear Deep truth that this process reveals.
This process is normally facilitated in a one on one basis, I offer the invitation for all to come and be a part of this process. Whether witnessing, or participating, there is much to be gained in this exploration. If you wish to know more about this process, you can contact me directly, read the book “The Heart of Zen,” which was written by the Integral Center’s own, Keith Martin-Smith, or visit www.MondoZen.org.
Unified Mindfulness Training with Danny Morris
Wednesdays 6:00pm – 7:30pm in the Meditation Room
Unified Mindfulness is Shinzen Young’s latest formulation of contemplative-based, psycho-spiritual growth. It arranges all the world’s focus techniques into four core themes:
Appreciate Self and World – Experience the senses with radical fullness.
Transcend Self and World – Contact something beyond the senses.
Express Spontaneity – Develop energy, bounce, and creativity in what you do, say, and think.
Nurture Positivity – Selectively attend to positive emotion, rational thought, positive behaviors. Refine your personhood, and be of service to others.
– Learn distinctive focus exercises that elevate your base level of concentration power, sensory clarity, and equanimity. No philosophy. No dogma. Practical and scientific.
– Optimize your response strategy by applying the perfect technique for your current situation, challenge or opportunity. Work smarter, not harder.
– Minimize suffering. Maximize fulfillment. Understand yourself. Act skillfully. Serve from love.
Each session will introduce a new technique and its applications in daily life; with time for practice, questions, and discussion.
