This week we’ve been processing the loss of a beloved community member, Beijaflor Essene. He passed away on Sunday of a heart attack in his bedroom. It was a huge shock, he was so young. He had been renting the blue office space in the basement for about six months, offering mirror work and counseling. He lead several Medicinal Mirrors workshops and organized a Healing Market in September that brought dozens of practitioners into the building to show off their skills. His organization, Yago Health Network will be going ahead with the second Healing Market here on Friday February 16th. He had a vision to create a cooperative online platform for transformational service providers to offer events, classes, and one-on-one sessions that I was excited about helping him with. I hope others will step up and carry on the work because the world needs more Beija’s! His memorial service will be held at the IC late next week. I’ll announce it on Facebook as soon as I know.

Authentic Relating Game Night ~ Intentions
Thursday January 25th 7:00pm – 9:00pm in the Chapel
Let’s take advantage of this beginning of the year to explore our intentions!
During this Authentic Relating game’s night hosted by Libby Sherwood, we will be connecting in a safe container through various games to explore the notion of intention: how a goal and an intention are different and how setting one can impact your life. How the underlying intention you have while connecting with others can drastically change the outcome. How a wide variety of intentions can be hidden under one simple desire. And more!
Whether you have a clear intention for the evening or just want to play, come share this deep inner-dive with us!
We recommend arriving early to find parking so we can begin at 7pm sharp.
Free for members of The Integral Center
Sliding-scale $10-$20 at the door
Game night is FIRST TIME FREE, so bring a friend!
Cryptocurrency Study Circle
Alternating Thursdays 5:00pm – 6:30pm in the Red Room
Want to learn about Cryptocurrencies and feeling overwhelmed? This group is for you!
This discussion group will have two components. First, Deborah Knox is leading a discussion on the book “Cryptoassets: The Innovative Investor’s Guide to Bitcoin and Beyond” by Chris Burniske and Jack Tatar. For the first part of the meeting we’ll discuss a few chapters in the book and also discuss our relationship to money and investing. We hope to bring consciousness to our shadows around these issues.
In the second part of the meeting Jacki Saorsail will lead a discussion about other aspects of the crypto-technology movement including current news, the technology, societal implications, and how we can support each other.
Each participant is expected to do some learning between each meeting by reading the assigned chapters in the book and/or researching other crypto-technology topics. Each participant will fill in the rest of the group on what they have learned so we all learn from each other. We’ll be putting together a list of the best information and resources to share with each other and our family and friends.
To sign up please RSVP on the facebook event here https://www.facebook.com/events/1769460160025630/
This event will be every other Thursday from 5pm-6:30pm at The Integral Center until it closes. We’ll try to finish the book by then. We may find another location to continue the group after that.
We ask that you commit to coming to 4 out of the next 5 meetings and bring some information to share each time. Reading Cryptoassets or a related book, reading blog posts or news articles, listening to podcasts, watching videos, or figuring out how to use the technology and/or invest by doing it all count. Please read the introduction and Chapters 1-3 in Cryptoassets (about 50 pages) and/or do at least 2 hours of other research and come prepared to briefly summarize what you learned at the first meeting. Please also save the links to your sources to share with the group, you can post them in this facebook event page.
If you get off work at 5pm and are a little late it’s OK, let us know what time you expect to arrive.
FREE for Integral Center Members, $10 suggested donation for non-members

Would you like to have an highly productive Tuesday. Join on Tuesday’s from 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM. This is a great opportunity to study in the Chapel while this fantastic resource is still available.

Get rid of distractions! We all work together in a quite, intentional way.
Stay Focussed! Select a bite-size chunk for each work block.
Reduce burnout! Periodic breaks help alleviate stress and improve attention.
