Authentic Relating Heroes Journey

In this inspirational blog post Michael Porcelli speaks about the potential for Authentic Relating practitioners to complete their heroes journey by bringing what they learn out into the world.

Join Michael for the Authentic Relating Comprehensive course to help you integrate the principles and practices of Authentic Relating to your everyday lives, in the relationships that matter most to you. (You can get a taste of how this works by checking out my Foundations of Authentic Relating blog series and read “What’s Wrong with Just ‘Being Yourself’” for more about my personal journey.)

Find out more by joining me for a live video webinar “Learn to apply authentic relating where it matters most” where you’ll see every relationship through a new perspective and what this makes possible…

The webinar will be December 5th, 6pm PT / 9pm ET. RSVP here

Authentic Relating Game Night ~ Boundaries

Wednesday, November 29th 6:00pm – 8:00pm in the Chapel

Boundaries are a cornerstone of healthy relationships. They help us build and maintain strong connections with ourselves and others. However, even identifying our boundaries can be challenging. It requires us to be in touch with our true needs and values, and have some clarity around what feels safe and what we want. Then we must weave our way through complex social norms, subconscious patterning and our natural human sensitivities in order to express those boundaries.

How do we become gracefully assertive without needing to be passive or aggressive, with confidence, eloquence, compassion and immediacy?

Let’s play. This evening of Authentic Relating hosted by Benjamin Kayat and Libby Sherwood will be dedicated to exploring the topic of boundaries: how to identify ours, as well as how to respond when someone else’s boundaries don’t align with our own. We will play within this theme in a safe container through various authentic relating games, theatrical improvisation and movement. Come join us to discover the underlying richness, safety and beauty that healthy boundaries can open in your life!
Time: 6-8pm

We recommend arriving early to find parking so we can begin at 6pm sharp.

Dani Escudero Bio:
We all walk a unique and wonderful path in life. A path that is only our own and it takes us many places unknown to discover and learn great things. In 2015 I took my first 200 hour yoga teacher training, without much experience. I was searching to heal physical, emotional and psychological pain I had been battling for 7 years. Yoga has empowered me to grow stronger, healthier, more compassionate and ultimately happier. My passion is to meet others along the way and be a positive force in their lives and help them along their own path. In my free time I like to explore nature with my husband and dog, read fantasy, play Capoeira and learn new things.
