Authentic Relating Game Night ~ Boundaries
Wednesday, November 29th 6:00pm – 8:00pm in the Chapel
Boundaries are a cornerstone of healthy relationships. They help us build and maintain strong connections with ourselves and others. However, even identifying our boundaries can be challenging. It requires us to be in touch with our true needs and values, and have some clarity around what feels safe and what we want. Then we must weave our way through complex social norms, subconscious patterning and our natural human sensitivities in order to express those boundaries.
How do we become gracefully assertive without needing to be passive or aggressive, with confidence, eloquence, compassion and immediacy?
Let’s play. This evening of Authentic Relating hosted by Benjamin Kayat and Libby Sherwood will be dedicated to exploring the topic of boundaries: how to identify ours, as well as how to respond when someone else’s boundaries don’t align with our own. We will play within this theme in a safe container through various authentic relating games, theatrical improvisation and movement. Come join us to discover the underlying richness, safety and beauty that healthy boundaries can open in your life!
We recommend arriving early to find parking so we can begin at 6pm sharp.
