Integral Salon ~ Enlightenment Now

February 26th 5:00-6:30 in the Chapel

Michael Porcelli joins Robert for our bi-weekly salon discussing how we make sense of our world through an Integral lens.

Steven Pinker’s recently published “Enlightenment Now” continues his theses similar to “Better Angels of Our Nature”, making the case that following research, humanity is doing better than ever before in history. We’ll discuss some of these topics and see where the rabbit-hole takes us.

Daniela EK Bio:
We all walk a unique and wonderful path in life. A path that is only our own and it takes us many places unknown to discover and learn great things. In 2015 I took my first 200 hour yoga teacher training, without much experience. I was searching to heal physical, emotional and psychological pain I had been battling for 7 years. Yoga has empowered me to grow stronger, healthier, more compassionate and ultimately happier. My passion is to meet others along the way and be a positive force in their lives and help them along their own path. In my free time I like to explore nature with my husband and dog, read fantasy, play Capoeira and learn new things.

Cryptocurrency Study Circle

Thursday, February 22nd 5:00pm – 6:30pm in the Chapel

Want to learn about Cryptocurrencies and feeling overwhelmed? This group is for you!

This discussion group will have two components. First, Deborah Knox is leading a discussion on the book “Cryptoassets: The Innovative Investor’s Guide to Bitcoin and Beyond” by Chris Burniske and Jack Tatar. For the first part of the meeting we’ll discuss a few chapters in the book and also discuss our relationship to money and investing. We hope to bring consciousness to our shadows around these issues.

In the second part of the meeting Jacki Saorsail will lead a discussion about other aspects of the crypto-technology movement including current news, the technology, societal implications, and how we can support each other.

To sign up please RSVP on the facebook event here https://www.facebook.com/events/1769460160025630/
